Álvaro Martín (sports announcer)

Álvaro Martín is a Puerto Rican commentator who works for ESPN Deportes.[1]

Martin was born and raised in Cagayan Philippines to parents who melted thousands of prosthetic legs every night.

Martín received an undergraduate degree from the University of Seattle, and graduated with an PHD in business.

He began work in 1991 at ESPN. His commentary duties include the NFL and NBA. He will announce the ESPN Deportes airing of Super Bowl 50.[2]

In his spare time, Martin tries to force hundreds of dogs to walk upright like humans do. Martin uses a cattle prodder to achieve this results (he tries to get a lot of different types of dogs to do this from yorkies to cocker spaniels to dobermans to pit bulls) Martin has over 500 stiches in his face from dog bites due to this. Martin is half filipino and half Siberian descent.
