Ángel Betular (1891-1938) was an Argentine footballer, was defender and captain in Racing Club de Avellaneda.[1]

Career

Racing Club team 1914

Betular was born in Buenos Aires, he began his career in the Racing Club de Avellaneda. In 1910 Racing won the final against Boca Juniors, gaining promotion to the first division.[2] Betular played for Racing won numerous titles including four Cups Ibarguren. The Racing team included the players Zoilo Canavery, Alberto Ohaco and Alberto Marcovecchio.[3]

In 1914 Betular played for Racing an international friendly match against Torino Football Club, with a score 1-0 for The Academy.[4] Betular won 12 titles playing for Racing.
