Đura Džudžar

Đura Džudžar (born April 22, 1954) is the current Apostolic Exarch to Serbia and Montenegro.[1]

Đura Džudžar was born in Đurđevo, Serbia and ordained on September 7, 1980 in the Greek-Catholic diocese of Križevci. On March 3, 2001 he was appointed auxiliary bishop of the Ukrainian Eparchy of Mukachevo of Ruthenian Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II while he was Titular Bishop of Acrassus. He received episcopal ordination from Pope John Paul II on March 19, 2001, being co-consecrators the curial cardinals Angelo Sodano, and Giovanni Battista Re. The appointment to the Apostolic Exarchate for the first Exarch of Serbia and Montenegro took place on August 28, 2003.
