Şehzade Mahmud (son of Suleiman I)
Şehzade Mahmud (b. 1512 — d. 1521) — was the first son of Suleiman the Magnificent, when Suleiman was a Şehzade (Ottoman prince). Mahmud died of smallpox in 1521 at the age of nine, when his father had already been sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
