Žiga Karničar (born November 5, 1985[1]) is a Slovenian ski mountaineer.

Karničar, member of the TTSO Jezersko,[2] took part as a member of the national skimountaineering team in the 2004 World Championships of Ski Mountaineering, when he placed sixth in the relay event together with Jernej Karničar, Tone Karničar and Marko Lihteneker.
