(5648) 1990 VU1

(5648) 1990 VU1 is a Jupiter Trojan minor planet. It was discovered by Kin Endate and Kazuro Watanabe at the Kitami Observatory in Hokkaidō, Japan, on November 11, 1990.

Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1994 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 37.56 ± 0.05 hours with a brightness variation of 0.20 ± 0.03 magnitude.[1]
