The 150th Indiana Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment from Indiana that served in the Union Army between March 9 and August 5, 1865, during the American Civil War.
Service
Recruited from the 8th district, the regiment was organized at Indianapolis, Indiana, with a strength of 1,082 men,[1] and mustered in on March 9, 1865.[1][2] It left Indiana for Harper's Ferry, West Virginia on March 13. The regiment saw duty at Charleston, West Virginia, Winchester, and Stevenson's Depot, remaining there until June 27.[1] It then proceeded to Jordan's Springs, Virginia, and remained there until it was mustered out on August 5, 1865.[1][2] During its service the regiment incurred thirty-four fatalities, and another fifty men deserted.[1]
