    1806 Derice, provisional designation 1971 LC, is a stony asteroid from the inner regions of the asteroid belt, about 10 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 13 June 1971 at the Bickley site of the Perth Observatory in Western Australia and was the first discovery of a minor planet ever made in Oceania.[2][9]

    It orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.0–2.5 AU once every 3 years and 4 months (1,222 days). With a semi-major axis of 2.24 AU, an orbital inclination of 3.8 degrees, and an eccentricity of 0.11 it is a core member of the Flora family of asteroids.[3] It has a rotation period of 3.2 hours. The assumed S-type asteroid has an albedo in the range of 0.21 to 0.28.[4][5][6]

    The asteroid is named after Derice Harwood, wife of Dennis Harwood, a member of the astrometric team at the discovering observatory.[2]
