Quincy Shaw defeated Oliver Campbell 1-6, 6-4, 6–3, 6-4 in the All Comers' Final of the 1889 U.S. Men's National Singles Championship. Henry Slocum won the Challenge Round against Quincy Shaw 6-3, 6-1, 4–6, 6-2. The event was held at the Newport Casino, Newport, R.I. from 21 August to 28 August.^[1]
