Rules for classification: Teams finish equal if level on points. Points system: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.
* Port Glasgow Athletic were deducted 7 points for fielding an ineligible player.
Northern were not re-elected and Thistle did not apply for re-election. Dundee Wanderers and Airdrieonians were elected in their place.
