1918 VPI Gobblers football team
The 1918 VPI Gobblers football team represented the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute in the 1918 college football season. Led by second year head coach Charles Bernier, the team went 7–0 and claims a South Atlantic Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SAIAA) championship.[1] Tech did not win seven straight games again until 1967.[2]
