Statistics of Kategoria e Parë in the 1939 season. This event is still not officially recognized from AFA, but in December 2012 the Albanian sports media have reported that this championship, along with the other two championships of World War II is expected to be recognized soon.[1]

Overview

Kategoria e Parë 1939 was the 8th season of Albania's annual main competition. It started on July 1, 1939 and ended on September 30th, 1939. Eight teams were separated in two groups of 4 teams each, playing two leg matches with a knock-out system. Group A teams were: SK Tirana, Rinia Korcare, Bashkimi Elbasanas and Dragoj Pogradeci. Group B teams were: Vllaznija, Besa Kavajë, Teuta Durrës and Ismail Qemali.

KF Tirana won the championship.[2][3]
