LEAGUE CHAMPIONS: Indianapolis, Fayetteville^[3]

In 1956, the Indianapolis Indians were 92–62. On May 18, they defeated the Louisville Colonels by a score of 24–0. Roger Maris had seven runs batted in for the game.^[4] The Indians went on to win the 1956 Junior World Series by defeating the Rochester Red Wings.
