1968 Championship of Australia

The 1968 Championship of Australia was an Australian rules football match that took place on 5 October 1968.

The championship was contested by the premiers of the VFL and the premiers of the SANFL.

The match was played in Adelaide, South Australia.

The match, played in front of 38,926, was won by Carlton by a margin of 37 points, giving Carlton its 1st Championship of Australia Title.[1]

This was the first Championship of Australia match to be held since 1914.
