The 1985 Big Sky Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was held March 5–7 at the BSU Pavilion at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho.[1]

Top-seeded Nevada defeated Idaho State in the championship game, 79–63, to clinch their second consecutive, as well as second overall, Big Sky men's basketball tournament.

The Wolf Pack, in turn, received an automatic bid to the 1985 NCAA Tournament, where they ultimately lost to NC State (also nicknamed the Wolfpack) in the First Round.

Format

Once again, all eight Big Sky members participated in the conference tournament. Teams were seeded based on regular-season conference records, and all teams were entered into the quarterfinal round.
