The 1986 European Figure Skating Championships was a senior-level international competition held in Copenhagen. Elite skaters from European ISU member nations competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.[1][2][3][4]
Competition notes
Jozef Sabovcik of Czechoslovakia landed a quadruple toe loop at the 1986 European Championships. It was recognized at the event but then ruled invalid three weeks later due to a touchdown with his free foot.[5]
