1994 Topps

This a list with brief descriptions of Topps trading card products for 1994. All cards listed are standard size (2½ × 3½ inches). Exceptions are noted.

Baseball

Base Set

The 1994 Topps set totals 792 cards and was issued in mini, mini jumbo, wax, rack, jumbo, or jumbo rack packs, and hobby or Baker's Dozen factory sets. Subsets include All-Stars, Stat Twins, Draft Picks, Prospects, and Checklist cards. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

Traded Set

The Traded set has 132 cards and was issued as a factory set which included eight Finest Inserts for a total of 140 cards. The cards are identical in appearance to the base set except for the T suffix in the numbering. This set features traded players, draft choices and rookie cards. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

Black Gold

This set totals 44 cards and was available as a pack or factory set insert or by using redemption cards. The fronts feature a player action photo with gold foil player and team names. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

Traded Finest Inserts

This set has 8 total cards and was issued in the Traded Factory Set. The cards have a purple chrome background. The players in the set are the top performers through the Month of July of the '94 season. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

Superstar Samplers

This set features 3 versions of 45 players for a total 135 cards and was available as inserts in Bakers Dozen Factory sets. The three versions include Bowman, Finest, and Stadium Club cards of each player. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

1995 Topps Pre-Production

This nine card set was issued in 1994 Topps Baker's Dozen Factory sets and resemble the 1995 Topps base cards. The difference being that the words Pre-Production Sample are placed over the statistics for the 1994 Major League Baseball season. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

Archives 1954

The 1994 Archives set issued in 12-card packs is a reprint of the original 1954 Topps set. Included are 248 cards from the original set with the exception of cards 1 and 250 both of which are Ted Williams. There are also eight specially created prospect cards. Original size: 2 58 × 3 34 in.

Bowman

This set contains 390 cards issued in 12-card foil packs. There is a 30 card foil subset of rookies and two checklist cards. The cards have borderless glossy full-color action photos with gold-foil stamped yard markers along the bottom below the player's name and Bowman logo. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

Finest

This set contains 220 cards and was issued in six card packs. The chromium technology used for these cards give them a glossy metallic look on the front. The fronts also have a color player action photo that extends out of a football shaped frame. The horizontal backs have biographical information, statistics, and a summary of the player's finest moment. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.

NFL Back-to-School

Topps produced one card in this 11-card redemption set. Cards were available by mail-in offer of 20 NFL licensed product wrappers by November 30, 1994. Each brand produced one card in the set. The Topps card in this set is #9 Jerry Rice.

Embossed

The premier of this product had 121 cards and was issued in six card packs. The cards feature embossed color photos on front and back. The fronts are framed with a textured border while the backs have a biographical data, stats, and a 'Did You Know' section. The set has a 20-card silver foil Draft Picks subset and a 5-card Houston Rockets NBA champion subset. Size: 2.5 × 3.5 in.
