1996 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group III

The Group III tournament was held March 18-24, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on outdoor hard courts.[1] The thirteen teams were divided into a pool of seven and a pool of six, each of which played a round-robin tournament. The winner of each pool was promoted to Group II for 1997. The lower-ranked teams would be assigned to the inaugural Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV in 1997.
