1997 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV

The inaugural Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV tournament was held March 26-30, in Muscat, Oman, on outdoor hard courts. The six teams played a round-robin tournament.[1] The matches scheduled for the final day were not played; by that time it had already been determined who would be promoted to Group III for 1998.
The tournament marked the debut of Tajikistan in Davis Cup competition.
