The 1 World Music Festival[1] was a music event slated to coincide with the Formula One race weekend, 20th and 21 September 2013. The event was to be held at the Marina Barrage in Singapore.
Top Australian artiste Iggy Azalea was scheduled to headline the festival. The advertised lineup also included Snoop Dogg, Moby, Tinie Tempah, Far East Movement, Orbital, Infected Mushroom, Kim Kat, Miguel Migs, Amadeus, The Cataracs, Randy Seidman, Taboo (of Black Eyed Peas), Sub Focus + ID, Pendulum + Verse and Cosmic Gate, Cobra Starship and Malaysian songstress Yuna.[2][3][4]
Local and regional acts included Inquizitive, Kevin Lester, Amy van de Beuken, Monkey King Bangkok Invaders, Aldrin, Dodgy Yamamoto, Akshai Sarin, Shine5, Sezairi Sezali, Roxy June, DJ Benz, Stereo Vixens, Tenashar, Mera Jin, Jon White, MadebyTommy and Andrew T.
With its tagline of “Turn Me On”, the 1 World Music Festival was intended as a late-night series of music performances.
The festival was organised by Retfar Entertainment Pte Ltd,[5] a sister company to Retfar Entertainment Pty Ltd of Australia.
On 18 September 2013, it was announced that the event would be cancelled.[6]
