The Skate Canada International is an international, senior-level invitation-only figure skating competition. It is part of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The location changes yearly. Medals are awarded in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
In 2000, it was held from November 2 through 5 at the Hershey Center in Mississauga, Ontario.
The compulsory dance was the Rhumba.
