2001 Baltimore Ravens season
The 2001 Baltimore Ravens season was the team's sixth year in the National Football League. Fresh off their trip to the Super Bowl, dark clouds gathered over the team as running back Jamal Lewis suffered a knee injury in training camp and would miss the entire season. This weakened the Ravens' running game. However, they still managed a 10–6 record and made the postseason for the second straight time in franchise history. They easily handled the Miami Dolphins, 20–3 in the Wild Card Round, but were unable to stop the 13–3 Pittsburgh Steelers, in the next round, thanks to a series of turnovers and miscues.
