The 2001 Copa Libertadores Finals was the 42nd edition of the Copa Libertadores, CONMEBOL's premier South American club football tournament. The competition was won by defending champions Boca Juniors, who beat Cruz Azul 31 on penalties after a 11 draw on aggregate and successfully defended the title as a result. It was their fourth Copa Libertadores title.
