The 2004 ASEAN University Games is the 12th ASEAN University Games held in Surabaya, Indonesia. Organised by the members of the ASEAN University Sports Council (AUSC), this biennial sports event involves athletes from the universities of the ASEAN member countries. This is the third time Indonesia hosted the ASEAN University Games, hosting it last 1990 in Bandung. Timor Leste for the first time participated in this sports event but Myanmar did not participated.
