2006 LPGA Championship
The 2006 LPGA Championship was played at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland, from June 8-11, 2006. This was the 52nd edition of the LPGA Championship, the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour.
The champion was Se Ri Pak, age 28, with a playoff victory over Karrie Webb. The two finished regulation play at 280 (–8), one stroke ahead of Ai Miyazato and Mi Hyun Kim. Pak birdied the first extra hole to gain her third LPGA Championship, fifth major, and 23rd career win on the LPGA Tour.
