The 2008-09 season was Beşiktaş JK's 105th football season. Also it was the 50th year of the Turkish Super League. Beşiktaş won the league as well as the Turkish Cup.

Main article 2008–09 Türkiye Kupası By finishing in the top 4 of the Super League last year, Beşiktaş qualified for the group stages. Beşiktaş was placed in Group A, along with Antalyaspor, Gaziantepspor, Trabzonspor and Gaziantep B.B.. Beşiktaş finished 1st.
