Member organization winners and tournaments

Six member organizations each end their regular seasons with a tournament. The teams in each conference that win their regular season title are given the number one seed in each tournament. The winners of these tournaments receive automatic invitations to the 2009 NCRHA Division I Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships. The Rocky Mountain Collegiate Roller Hockey Association only has one Division I school and does not have a regional tournament, instead giving their automatic invitation to their regular season champion Colorado State.

Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships

The NCRHA Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships started on April 2, 2009 and concluded on April 5 at the Sportsplex in Feasterville, Pennsylvania. Of the 24 teams that were invited to participate, 7 were automatic bids while 17 were at-large bids. The 17 at-large teams came from 7 member organizations. The ECRHA received seven bids. The WCRHL received four bids. The GPCIHL, MCRHL, SCHL and SECRHL each received three bids. The RMCRHA received one bid. Lindenwood and rival UMSL both tore through the tournament each going 6–0–0 and facing off in the championship game for the second year in a row. UMSL upset previously undefeated Lindenwood 5–3, snapping both Lindenwood's 38 game winning streak as well as their 7-year National Champions streak, to claim their first Division I National Championship. Lindenwood Junior Forward Kyle Gouge lead the tournament in scoring with 31 points in 7 games, while UMSL Freshman Goaltender Jimmy Steger went 7–0 and was named tournament MVP.
