2010 Indonesian Inter Island Cup
Football clubs representing the five main islands of the archipelago are gearing up for the 2010–2011 season of the Indonesian Super League at the ongoing Djarum Inter Islands Cup football tournament.
The six clubs participating at the 27 August – 5 September tournament held by PT Liga Indonesia are divided into two groups.
Teams in group A – consisting of Sumatera’s Sriwijaya FC, Kalimantan’s Balikpapan FC, Persib (Java) — are competing at the Jakabaring Stadium in Palembang, South Sumatera, while, Group B’s PSM (Sulawesi), Arema Indonesia (Java), and Persiwa (Papua) are competing in Malang, East Java.
The final of the tournament took place in Palembang on 5 September,[1] won by Sriwijaya FC by 2–0 over Persiwa Wamena.[2]
