The 2011 Basra bombings were three bombing attacks in a market in Basra, Iraq, on November 24, 2011, killing at least 19 people and wounding at least 65.[1][2] The first two bombs, a roadside and a motorcycle, happened simultaneously, while the third one was the deadliest, causing death of police and army officers, as well as most of the injuries. According to the official sources, it is still unknown who carried out the attacks.[1]
