2012 Eastern Illinois Panthers football team
The 2012 Eastern Illinois Panthers football team represented Eastern Illinois University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by first year head coach Dino Babers and played their home games at O'Brien Stadium. They are a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. They finished the season 7–5, 6–1 in OVC play to be crowned conference champions. They earned the conference's automatic bid into the FCS Playoffs where they lost in the first round to South Dakota State.
