1 Since 2014–15 Magyar Kupa both finalists Győri Audi ETO KC and FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria qualified for the 2015–16 EHF Champions League Group Phase and Qualification Round, the EHF Cup Winners' Cup spot was passed to cup third Siófoki KC-Galerius Fürdő.

2 Following 2014–15 Nemzeti Bajnokság I/B Eastern Group champions Gödi SE have declined the promotion due to financial reasons, MTK Budapest maintained its top division membership.
