The 2014–15 Syracuse Crunch season is the American Hockey League franchise's 21st season in the city of Syracuse, New York.

Off-season

June

On June 11, it was announced that on November 22, the Frozen Dome Classic would be held against the Utica Comets at the Carrier Dome. Toyota was later named the sponsor of this event.

July

On July 1, Captain Mike Angelidis was resigned by Tampa Bay. On July 8, Mike Blunden, Matt Corrente and Cody Kunyk were signed by Tampa Bay to two-way contracts. Also on July 8, Allen York was signed by the Crunch. On July 10, Jerome Samson was signed by Tampa Bay. On July 11, Philippe Paradis was signed by Tampa Bay.

August

On August 25, the Crunch inked Jeff Costello to an 1-year AHL deal. On August 26, the 2014–15 schedule was announced. The Crunch hosted the Springfield Falcons at home to start their season, losing 3-1.

Training camp

The Crunch held their training camp in Lyon, France with the Binghamton Senators.

Regular Season

The Crunch played their 2014-15 season from October 11-April 18, and the Calder Cup Playoffs from April 24-29.

October

On October 11, the Crunch opened their season at home against the Springfield Falcons. The Crunch fell 3-1, with Mike Blunden scoring the first goal of the year. On October 12, highly touted goaltending prospect Andrei Vasilevskiy made his professional debut, suffering a 4-3 overtime loss to the Hartford Wolfpack. On October 16, Tampa Bay Lightning 2013 first round pick Jonathan Drouin was assigned to the Crunch, for a conditioning stint, and the next day, scoring the game winning goal, in which was his first professional goal. When his conditioning stint ended, he recorded 3 points, with a goal scored and 2 assists in two games.

The Crunch ended the month with a 3-4-1 record.
