Jolyon Palmer took pole position in the feature race, but after a poor start, he was beaten to the first corner by Stoffel Vandoorne.[1] Vandoorne won the race, with Carlin driver Julián Leal finished second and poleman Palmer finished third. Felipe Nasr finished in eighth position, and thus started on pole for the sprint race.
