2014 Long Ashton arson
On the twenty fifth of November, assailants set fire to five vehicles in Long Ashton, England.[1][2] There were no reported casualties. Police said they were keeping an "open mind" about a claim of responsibility made on an anarchist website, with "nothing to conclusively show or dismiss links between the attacks and the claim of responsibility".[1]
The Informal Anarchist Federation, an insurrectionary anarchist organisation and the Earth Liberation Front, a radical environmental movement founded in the United Kingdom, claimed joint responsibility for the incident. They described it as an act of retaliation for the death of environmentalist Remi Fraisse and a statement against industrialization.[3]
