The 2015–16 Oregon State Beavers men's basketball team represented Oregon State University in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Beavers were led by second-year head coach Wayne Tinkle, and played their home games at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 19–13, 9–9 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three way tie for sixth place. They defeated Arizona State in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to California. The Beavers received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1990, where they lost in the first round to VCU.

Previous Season

The 2014–15 Oregon State Beavers finished the season with an overall record of 17–14, and 8–10 in conference play. In the Pac-12 Tournament, the Beavers were defeated by Colorado in the First Round. The team was invited to play in the 2015 College Basketball Invitational, but declined.[1]
