It is their second season with Tor Ole Skullerud as their manager, and they are the defending champions of both the Tippeligaen and Norwegian Cup. They will also participate in the UEFA Champions League.

Following the clubs elimination from the UEFA Champions League, manager Tor Ole Skullerud was fired on 6 August,[1] being replaced with Erling Moe on an interim basis.[2] On 21 October 2015, Ole Gunnar Solskjær returned as manager, signing a 3.5 year contract.[3]

  2. Lillestrøm started the season with a one point deduction due to poor financial reporting.[25]
