The 2016–17 USC Trojans men's basketball team represent the University of Southern California during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They are led by fourth-year head coach Andy Enfield. They play their home games at the Galen Center and are members of the Pac-12 Conference.
Previous season
The 2015–16 Trojans finished the season with an overall record of 21–13, and 9–9 in conference. The Trojans beat UCLA in the first round, then lost to Utah in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament. USC received an at-large bid as an 8-seed in the East Region of the 2016 NCAA Tournament. USC would lose to 9-seed Providence in the first round 69-70. This was USC's first bid since 2011.
