The 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship will be the 10th edition of the event.[1] It will be held for the first time in the Philippines.[2] The tournament will be held in 18–23 October 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.[3]

The Philippine Super Liga will be in charge for organizing the tournament, together with the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the national federation for volleyball. The host country also requested the FIVB, its participation in the tournament.[4]
