The 2016 Memorial Cup is a four-team, round-robin format tournament that will be held at the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer May 19–29, 2016. It will be the 98th Memorial Cup championship and will determine the champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The tournament will take place in Red Deer, Alberta, and will be hosted by the Red Deer Rebels, who won the right to host the tournament over a bid by the Vancouver Giants.[1] Red Deer will be the first city in Alberta to host since the tournament adopted its current format in 1983. All games will be televised in Canada on Sportsnet and TVA Sports. The NHL Network will most likely televise the games in the United States.
