The 2016 SAFF Women's Championship was an association football tournament for women's national teams organised by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). It is scheduled to be hosted by India in September 2016.^[1]

Host selection

On 2 January 2016, SAFF executive committee made a decision that India would host the 2016 SAFF Women's Championship at a meeting held in Trivandrum, India.^[1]
