The 2017 World Baseball Classic (WBC) is an upcoming international professional baseball competition. This will be the fourth iteration of the WBC.

Twelve of the sixteen nations qualified based on their performance during the first round of the 2013 tournament; the remaining four nations will qualify via qualification tournaments beginning in February 2016.[1] Colombia will make its World Baseball Classic debut.

Qualification

The top three teams from each pool of the first round of the 2013 World Baseball Classic automatically qualified.

Broadcasting

MLB Network will have exclusive English-language broadcast rights in the United States.[2]
