2021 Winter Universiade

The 2021 Winter Universiade, the XXX Winter Universiade, is scheduled for 2021 in Lucerne.

Host selection

On 1 September 2014, FISU launched of the bidding process for the 2021 Winter and Summer Universiades.[1] In February 2015 at the 2015 Winter Universiade FISU has been informed about the intention of Belarus and Poland to jointly bid for the 2021 Winter Universiade.[2] On 24 August 2015, Switzerland informed about its bid for the 2021 Winter Universiade.[3]

On 5 March 2016 Winter Universiade 2021 was awarded to Luzerne.[4]
