2747 Český Krumlov (Czech: [ˈtʃɛskiː ˈkrʊmlof]) is a main belt asteroid, about 33 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered by Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos at Kleť Observatory on 19 February 1980. Its provisional designation was 1980 DW.[1]
The asteroid belongs to the Hygiea family and is dark colored (hence probably a carbonaceous C-type).
It is named after the historic Czech town of Český Krumlov, near to the location of the discovering Kleť Observatory.[2]
