"3 2 1" is the ninth Japanese single by South Korean boy group Shinee. The single was released on December 4, 2013 by Universal Music Japan sublabel EMI Records Japan and is an OST for the Japanese Drama "Tokyo Toy Box".[3]

Background and release

On October 10, 2013 EMI Records Japan announced Shinee's ninth single.[4] On 5 October, Shinee’s new song "3 2 1" has already started playing as the theme song for TV Tokyo New Drama "Tokyo Toy Box".[5] The short version of the music video was released on September 11, 2013.[6]

According to the Japanese main music ranking site, Oricon Daily Chart, Shinee sold 42,216 copies of their new single "321" on December 4 which was the same day it was released. It landed them in third place on the chart.[7]
