    4045 Lowengrub (1953 RG) is an outer main-belt asteroid discovered on September 9, 1953 by Indiana University at Brooklyn.

    Photometric observations of this asteroid reported in 1996 show a rotation period of 9.764 ± 0.003 hours.[2]
