5692 Shirao (1992 FR) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 23, 1992 by Endate and Watanabe at Kitami.
Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2004–2005 show a rotation period of 2.886 ± 0.002 hours with a brightness variation of 0.12 ± 0.03 magnitude.[2]
