The 69th Rice Bowl is an American football championship game that was played on January 3, 2016, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. In this, the 69th annual Rice Bowl, the Panasonic Impulse, champions of the X-League, played and defeated the Ritsumeikan Panthers, the national champions of college football in Japan and the champions of the Kansai Collegiate American Football League in a 22-19 comeback victory.
