70th birthday of Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia

The 70th birthday of Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia was celebrated with a three day celebration in Belgrade, Serbia, starting on July 17, 2015, the birthday of Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia and ending of July 19. The celebration was attended by members of forgein royal families,members of the House of Karadjordjevic.Serbian governmental,religious and military dignitaries,representatives of the diplomatic corps and other famous personalities from public life.[1]

Description of the celebration

Upon arrival in Belgrade on Friday, 17 July, the members of the royal families and other distinguished guests from abroad were welcomed with a rich programme, prepared and organized by the Serbian Royal Family. On Friday, the first day of the Crown Prince’s birthday celebration, a welcome reception was organized at the Beli Dvor. Crown Prince Alexander greeted all guests, and then thanked them for coming to his birthday. Saturday on July 18, began with a cruise and buffet lunch on the Sava and Danube rivers. Guests then came in the evening to the Royal Palace for the gala dinner. On Sunday a brunch was organized at the Royal Palace. Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine then bid farewell to the guests and thanked them for coming to Serbia.[2][3]
