A. M. A. Azeez

A.M.A Azeez (Tamil ஏ. எம். ஏ. அஸீஸ்) (October 4, 1911 – November 23, 1973) was a pioneering Sri Lankan Muslim civil servant and an educator. He was born in the city of Jaffna and had his education in institutions in that city. He was a lifelong friend of Hindu reformer Swami Vipulananda and was instrumental in opening charitable organizations to help poor Muslim residents of the east of the country.[1][2]
