Alfred Allen Simpson

Alfred Allen Simpson was Mayor of the City of Adelaide from 1913 to 1915.
The name Simpson Desert was coined in 1930 by Cecil Madigan,[1] after Alfred Allen Simpson, an Australian philanthropist, geographer, and president of the South Australian branch of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia.
From 1919, lived at Undelcarra in Burnside.[2]
A. Simpson & Co., whitegoods manufacturer.[2]
